Internet Phone

I will be meeting my Bei in 17 more mins over e internet phone. Bei is out of the town for 3 weeks. Everyday we will have little chat (1 hr) over the net. Had found out that internet phone is rather clear and save $. It brings us fun and sometime of course fighting. :(

Recalling 10 yrs ago, when internet phone just pop up. Although the voice transfer has delayed, it was consider a great technology for me in the 90s. I think I am quite lucky to be the one who grow up with technology. I am not sure 10 yrs later what kind of web service will be lauched. Surely more than what I can expected :) Hopefully I will still be able to grow up with it and not stay still in the 90s.

Sometimes, technology is really growing at a very fast pace that anyone can expect and cope with. However, parents of my friends aged around 60+ is surprising me when she knew how to talk over e net with her friends. Haiz, if we are not in the same pace as the technology grow, we will surely be missed out by the world.

東森購物台銷售「天后」利菁從小就是雙性人，同時擁有男女兩種生理性徵，這點讓她痛苦了20年，由於家裡只有她和姐姐兩人，從小在父母期望下，是以男生來養，利菁說，就像套在一雙不對的鞋子裡，是件很痛苦的事，不惜割腕自殺來抗爭，現在「比女人還女人」的利菁，不但和小她14歲的老公結婚2年、在事業上有傲人的成績，對現狀「坦蕩蕩」，過去不愉快的記憶，她當是丟進垃圾桶裡，不願去翻找，最讓她感動的是，另一半在3年前的睡夢中被她搖醒告知此事，老公的反應竟是「那是你的過去，關我何事，你為此受過苦，我當然要更愛你！」
能在電視購物屹立不搖，深獲消費者信任，利菁說，她都秉持「將心比心」道理，她說，「每一次的銷售，都把觀眾當成家人，把產品當成自己要用」，利菁的每一句話，推薦每一項產品，都是用感情，以誠懇的心博取觀眾認同，終讓她一步步走上成功之路。利菁變性超過二十年，一路走來，跌跌撞撞，她說：「感謝上帝，讓我這個女人終於通過這些嚴苛考驗」。
利菁感言： 自己一向是個努力向上的人，在工作上從沒有鬆懈過，希望大家都能看到我的用心，繼續替我加油。

Grand Canyon Skywalk

Grand Canyon Glass BridgeThe Glass Bridge Construction of the Skywalk began March of 2004 and is estimated to be completed by 4th quarter of 2006.Glass Bridge will be suspended 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the very edge of the Grand Canyon. On May 2005, the final test was conductedand the stucture passed engineering requirements by 400 percent, enablingit to withstand the weight of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes (more that 71 million pounds).The bridge will be able to sustain winds in excess of 100 miles per hourfrom 8 different directions, as well as an 8.0 magnitude earthquake within50 miles. More than one million pounds of steel will go into the construction of the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
